SSS Floating Hearts die cut

Hello hello crafty friends. Thank you for stopping by. The project I’ll be sharing with you today is a fun one. We will be doing some ink blending with some oxide inks. I saw Yana do some ink blending with her latest cards so it gave me the motivation to do some as well.
We need to start with 110lb Neenah Solar white carstock. It’s a strudy cardstock and in my opinion, its easier to apply ink to. My card panel is an A2 size. I really love the darker purple colors with pinks so much, that I chose Seedless Preserve, Abandoned Coral and Tattered Rose in oxides for the inks I’ll use for my card. You should start with the darker shade of ink, apply and switch shades.
SSS Floating Hearts die cut was a fun die to use and the cut out is really cool. Run that through your die cutting machine. In order for me to apply the ink on the hearts, I had to mask them off. I masked around the hearts I was applying ink to and I lightly applied the ink at towards the bottom of the heart.
When both of the floating hearts dies were complete, I applied some GinaK Connect glue to the back of the dies and glued them to the panel. Next I added some glue to the back of my panel and adhered it to an A2 size card base. Add some embellishments and use a few sentiment strips from CZ Design.
That’s it! Pretty simple, right?!? You want to know where I got all of my fun crafty goodies? . At no extra charge to you I’ve included a list below for your convenience.
