Hello hello crafty friends. It’s time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This week is Love Is In The Air. We are featuring products by Simon Says Stamp. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you do, we would love to see you use them. Challenge deets are over at SimonSaysStampBlog.com. Let’s begin on how I made this card.
I always begin with an A2 size card panel. Using SSS Fog cardstock, I attached SSS Tumbling Hearts stencil with some Pixie spray. Make sure you use colors that will show up on the Fog cardstock that’s why I chose Picked Raspberry, Festive Berries and Worn Lip Stick distress oxide inks.
You can use cardstock that pops for the cutout sentiment. SSS Assorted Holographic cardstock is the “pop” I chose to cut out my SSS Love Shadow die cut. Running it through your die cutting machine 2 times is what you need to make sure it cuts through the intricate areas in the die. I stamped the sentiment on Simon’s Fog cardstock using their white embossing powder. Added it to an A2 size card base using Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock. Adhered it using some foam adhesive tape and finished my card off with Simon’s embellishments.
That’s it. Easy, right!?!? The products I used for this card and where I purchased them are listed below. At no extra charge to you for using the list, you can click on them and go shopping. Thank you so much for stopping by and I will see you next time and good luck! If you’d like to see other cards I’ve done using this technique, click here.
