Kitsch Flamingo Lips

Hello hello crafty friends! Thanks for coming back to another tutorial. Today I would be sharing how I made this super fun Valentine’s Day card using the new Tim Holtz color Kitsch Flamingo. This color is AWESOME! We need to just jump into it.
I started off with getting an A2 size card panel using Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock. Spray some Pixie spray to the back of the SSS Hot Lips stencil and placed it on the panel to keep it in place.
I got the regular ink blending tool and applied Kitsch Flamingo all of the lips. Use a light hand for this part. Then I grabbed the smallest ink blending brush and applied some Festive Berries around the lip line and started to blend inward. I’d grab the 2nd smallest blending brush and added some Kitsch so that my lips would blend better.
When the blending was done, I took these lips to the 80’s and added some shine. SO I added some Transparent Glossy paste. When that was done, set it aside to let it dry completely. (clean off your stencil and work area)
While my panel was drying, I got some SSS White Glitter cardstock and used some Kitsch Flamingo very lightly on the love die cut from Simon as well. (run it through your die cutting machine.)
Once the panel is dry, clean it up a bit by trimming the edges. Adhere your “Love” die cut to the panel. Add your trimmed down panel to an A2 size card base using some Neenah cardstock also. I used some GinaK connect glue and adhered my panel to my card base. I finished off my card with some embellishments.
That’s it. Easy, right!?!? The products I used for this card and where I purchased them are listed below. At no extra charge to you for using the list, you can click on them and go shopping. Thank you so much for stopping by and I will see you next time and good luck! If you’d like to see other cards I’ve done using this technique, click here.
What stamp is the SENDING SMOOCHES from?
I’m from San Diego…where are you at??
Minnesota. We are at -13 right now! I think they said windchill was -30!
Wow! I cannot even imagine. But I would love to have 4 seasons. We have sun and then sun with heat. Not that I’m bragging. BUT, 4 seasons calls for humidity and I’m not about that life 😂😂
The spring summer & falls here are great. Though sometimes spring is nit existant. We can get up into the 100,’s in the summer. I just need someplace else in the winter!
Do you know what the smooches stamp is?
Oh no! I thought I added that. I’m so sorry. It’s CZ Designs Love Reverse Sentiment strips. That pack of sentiments is so much fun…have lots of witty sentiments in there😊
Really Fabulous card!!! I just got these 2 products and can’t wait to try this!!! Thanks!!
Yay! I would love to see what you make with em…tag me if you can😘
