Hello hello crafty friends. It’s time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This week is Slimline cards. We are featuring products by LDRS. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you do, we would love to see you use them. Challenge deets are over at SimonSaysStampBlog.com. Let’s begin on how I made this card.
I started my project with an slimline size panel using Neenah Solar white 110 cardstock. Use some Pixie low tack spray on the back of your LDRS Creative Sunflower stencil so that it will stay on your panel while you ink blend. I used some Mowed Lawn, Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Carved Pumpkin and some Vintage Photo distress inks and ink blended the flowers and leaves on my stencil.
When all of the ink blending is finished, I cleaned off my stencil. Then I used SSS Slimline Scallop die cut but I used the ones that didnt have the scallops on it and ran it through my Platinum 6. I also ran the thank you die on gold foil cardstock. I assembled my card using some foam tape on my panel and adhered it to my slimline size card base which is SSS Green Leaf cardstock. Place the thank you die on your panel and finish it up with some embellishments.
That’s it. Easy, right!?!? The products I used for this card and where I purchased them are listed below. At no extra charge to you for using the list, you can click on them and go shopping. Thank you so much for stopping by and I will see you next time and good luck!
