Concord and 9th Alphabet Soup and Safari Friends

Hello hello crafty friends.  Thanks for stopping by.  Today i’ll be sharing how I made these 2 very fun cards from Concord and 9th’s latest release.  Let’s start.

I started with the Alphabet Turnabout.  Confession!  I have never used a turnabout stamp so it was really fun to see what it was all about.  For more examples on how to use this set, check out Jennifer McGuire’s tutorial here. 

I inked my first turnabout in Midnight ink.  The next turn I used Oceanside (make sure you clean off your stamp with each turn) Then I used Parsley and finally Peacock.

Grabbed my Safari set and stamped the elephant in Dove.  I cut out the Oh So Sweet die and used that on black cardstock. I used SSS Stitched Rectangle frame and cut out my panel.  I added some little hearts on top of the elephants trunk.  I added my panel on SSS Fog cardstock A2 base.

My other card, I used SSS Clouds for Days stencil and i used Aqua Sky ink.  Then I grabbed the Rhino, stars and moon and stamped it in the Aqua Sky ink as well.

I stamped the sentiment in Mushroom,  This card is on a Mini Slimline card and used Aqua card base.
