Waffle Flower April 2021 Release Blog Hop

My first card I started off with an A2 size panel using Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock. I grabbed Spotlight Hexagon stencil and used some Spiced Marmalade distress ink in the middle of my panel. I gently ink blended my color. I adjusted my stencil above the first color and applied some Kitsch Flamingo. Once I was done with that, I lowered my stencil below the middle shape and applied Squeezed Lemonade.
Once all of the ink blending I used a sentiment from one of the Teacher Clear stamp sets and used some SSS Intense Black ink and stamped my sentiment in the middle of my panel. I used my Misti for that.
I trimmed down my panel and adhered it to an A2 size card base using some foam tape. I finished off my panel with some embellishments.
My next card I started with some Neenah solar white cardstock. I ran my Waffle Flower Stitched Diamond panel through my die cutting machine as an embossing folder.
I took it out of my machine, flipped it over and taped the pieces just in case some were to get loose.
I stamped my Waffle Flower Jumbo flower pot stamp set image on some Neenah 80lb cardstock using my Misti as I wanted to get a crisp image.
I colored my image using my Copics. I used – Flowers: Y18, Y08 and Y04. Pink Flowers: RV000 Leaves: G14, G07 and YG05. The basket: E18, E13 and E11.
I added my embossed panel to an A2 size card base using Neenah solar white 80lb cardstock. I used some foam tape and adhered my cut out flower and basket to my panel. I used some foam tape and adhered my sentiment to my panel and finished it off using some embellishments.

I’m new to stenciling and the spotlight cards are very pretty. I dont see that very much and like it a lot for a soft background! That jumbo flower pot is stealing the show, but then placing it on that diamond die background turns it into frame worthy. Taping the bits on is a great idea. Very pretty cards for a fun fun release!
