SSS 2021 June Card Kit

Hello hello crafty friends.  Thanks for stopping by.  Today I will be sharing how I made these  fun rainbow cards.  So let’s begin.

Card 1 – I started with an A2 size panel using Neenah Solar white 80 lbs cardstock.  I used my SSS Sentiment Label dies and grabbed the smallest die.  I ran the patterned paper that came with the card kit through my die cutting machine with the die to get the strips.

I glued all of the strips to a piece of cardstock and trimmed them down to fit a trimmed down piece of cardstock.

I put the cardstock in my Misti and stamped up my sentiment using SSS Intense Black ink.  I stamped it a few times to get a crisp image.  I put some foam tape on my panel and adhered it to an A2 size card base using SSS Island Blue cardstock.  I adhered some foam tape to the back of my strips and adhered it above my sentiment.  I finished off the card with the rainbow embellishments that is in the kit.

Card 2:  I started off with an A2 size card panel using Neenah Solar white 80lb cardstock.  I got the cloud stencil that is in the card kit and some Salty Ocean distress ink and started ink blending the color on my panel.  I used the domed ink tools for this.

Once I was finished with the clouds, I ran some cardstock through my die cutting machine using the rainbow die that also came inside the kit. (I ran the rainbow through 3 times total) I used my copics:  R59, YR09, Y17, YG13, BG15, B18 and V09.

I put my panel into my Misti and stamped my sentiment using SSS Intense Black ink.  I glued my rainbows together and added some foam tape to the back and adhered it above my sentiment.  I added some foam tape on my card panel and adhered it to an A2 size card base.
