SSS Spring Blooms Background Stamp

Hello hello crafty friends.  Thanks for stopping by.  Today I will be sharing how I made a fun masculine card using a floral stamp  from Simon Says Stamp.  Let’s start.

I got an A2 size card panel using Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock.  Treat your panel with your anti static tool.  Ink up your SSS Spring Bloom Background Stamp with some VeraMark embossing ink.  I used my Misti for this step so that I would get an even impression.  Take your panel out of your Misti and sprinkle some clear embossing power..shake the excess powder off and heat set it.

Get your distress inks and you’ll start to ink blend the colors.  I started with Gathered Twigs, then Bundled Sage and finally Old Paper.  Go back on forth until you get a smooth even blend using your ink blending tools.  Make sure you don’t go past half way of your panel with the lightest color.

Run the Papa die from CZ Design through your die cutting machine using 110lb cardstock.  I cut out 3 of them and glued them together.  I used the remaining ink left on my brush and applied the Gathered Twigs color towards the bottom of Papa.

I adhered my panel to an A2 size card base using Black cardstock and  some foam adhesive tape.  Glue the sentiments on the card and that’s it!  A really cool masculine card.
