SSS You Matter Rainbow card using alcohol inks
Hello hello crafty friends. Thanks for stopping by. Today I will be sharing how I made a fun Rainbow card using Alcohol Inks and Simon Says Stamp products. Let’s start.
I started off with some Tim Holtz Yupo white cardstock. I added some of the following inks: Watermelon, Honeycomb, Dandelion, Botanical, Glacier and Amethyst. Let the ink dry on your paper.
When the ink is dried, add some alcohol solution to each color on at a time. Use your air blower to move your ink around. Make sure its dried before you go onto the next color. I’m in no way an expert in using alcohol inks, I just found that this way worked for me.
While the panel is drying, use some gold cardstock through your die cutting machine using the You Matter . Also, run the shadow die using some of the Yupo paper, so that it would look better vs it being white. When the panel is completely use the A7 rectangle stitched die.
Adhere the panel to an A7 size card base using some Neenah solar white 80lb cardstock. Add your sentiment to your panel and finish it off with some embellishments.
