SSS Wednesday Challenge: Penny Black – Lots of layers

 

Hello hello crafty friends. It’s time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This week is Lots of layers.  We are featuring products by Penny Black.. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you do we would love to see you use them. Challenge deets are over at SimonSaysStampBlog.com. Let’s begin on how I made this card.

I began by using a trimmed down A2 notecard using Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock.   I attached my SSS Coffee Drinks stencil to my panel using some Pixie spray. I used some Kitsch Flamingo and lightly blended it in different areas of the stencil.  Once I was done ink blending using my SSS blender brushes, I removed my stencil from my panel and cleaned it off.

I stamped SSS Cup of Love stamp using SSS Intense Black ink in my Misti.  I did this to get a crisp image.  I colored the coffee cups, saucers and spoons using my copics.  I used some Neenah Solar white 100lb cardstock.

When I was done coloring, I used the coordinating die for this set and ran them through my die cutting machine.

I arranged the images on my card panel and adhered them with some foam tape.  I stamped my sentiment in Black Cardstock from SSS.  Once I was done arranging my panel. I attached it to an A2 size card base using SSS Fog cardstock.  I finished my card off with some embellishments.
