SSS Wednesday Challenge: Hero Arts – Thinking Of You

Hello hello crafty friends. It’s time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This week is Thinking of You.  We are featuring products by Hero Arts. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you do we would love to see you use them. Challenge deets are over at SimonSaysStampBlog.com. Let’s begin on how I made this card.

I started with an A2 size card panel using Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock.  I ink up my Hero Arts Presents background stamp in my Misti using VersaMark ink.  Stamped my image and then applied some SSS clear embossing powder.  I heat set it.

I applied the following distress inks starting with Villainous Potion, Prize Ribbon and Peacock Feathers.  I used my SSS blending brushes to apple the ink.

I ran my Thinking of You die through my die cutting machine using Black cardstock.  I trimmed down my panel and adhered it to an A2 size card base using some foam tape.  I finished it off with some embellishments.
