Simon Says Stamp Good Luck Charm Blog Hop: Day 1

Hello hello crafty friends and welcome back to another tutorial. I’m extremely excited to be apart of Simon Says Stamp Blog Hop Day 1 for their Good Luck Charm release. If you are hopping along then I am guessing you are coming from the very talented and amazing Suzy.  She is sooo amazing isn’t she?  Simon is giving away a 3×4 Birthday Cupcake Stamp Set (with purchase of $25 or more) Make sure you use code: YUM20.  This promotion will expire 2/20/22 at 11:59 pm EST.  So let’s get started.

I started by getting some pattered paper and ran each color through my die cutting machine using SSS Balloon Background die cut.  Then I ran it through 3 more times using Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock.

I glued and stacked the 3 plain cutouts on an A2 size panel using Neenah Solar 80lb cardstock.  I inserted the patterned paper in each balloon (in rainbow color)

Adhere the panel to an A2 size card base using Neenah Solar white 80lb carstock.  I added a sentiment from SSS Reverse All Things Happy Remix strips.  Finish it off with some color coordinated embellishments.

That’s it. Simple, right?!? The products I used for this card and where you can find them are listed below. At no extra charge to you for using the list, you can click on them and go shopping. Thanks for stopping by.  Have fun hopping and good luck!  Hope you enjoy what Lisa has created.  Be sure to stop by Simons Blog  tomorrow 2/19/22 for Day 2 of the hop..there will be more inspiration from this release from super talented designers!  You can also check out the entire release here.

  3. Our granddaughter would love this card. Pattered balloons and embellishments that look like a bubble machine that can match the balloon colors! Thank you for your inspiration!

  4. I like the patterned papers on the balloons. Such a simple idea, but I haven’t thought of using patterns…

  5. I so appreciate the use of patterned papers to make this card. I am raiding my stash now to find colors to make a card.
