Simon Says Stamp Garden Boots stamp and die set

Hello hello crafty friends and welcome back to another tutorial. Today I’ll be sharing how I made this springtime card using products from SSS Hello Gorgeous release. Let’s get started.
Start with 80lb Neenah solar white cardstock. Using your Misti, ink up the garden boot from SSS Garden Boots using copic friendly ink. I used SSS Intense black ink.
I chose the following colors to color the flowers and leaves: Flowers – V12, V15, V17, Y08, Y04. Leaves: YG03, YG17 and YG67. I did basic copic coloring. Run the boot through your die cutting machine using the coordinating die.
Use some black cardstock and treat it for heat embossing. Ink up your sentiment with embossing ink. Add some white embossing powder, shake off the excess and heat set the sentiment. Run the sentiment through your die cutting machine using the coordinating die. You also need to run the embossing folder using Neenah solar white 110lb cardstock using the embossing settings for your die cutting machine.
Trim your panel down and adhere it to an A2 size card base using Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock. I used some foam tape to attach my panel. Add some foam tape to the boot and sentiment and attach it to the panel. Finish your card off with some embellishments.
That’s it. Simple, right?!? The products I used for this card and where you can find them are listed below. At no extra charge to you for using the list, you can click on them and go shopping. Thanks for stopping by. I’ll see you next time.

Love this card and stamp set! How did you create the plaid pattern on the boot?
I used pattern paper and cut it out and glued it over the boot 😉
